About The Citrus Connect
The Cirtus Connect seeks to foster a sense of community while offering valuable resources to make life easier for residents of the four towns that make up the Oranges – namely East Orange, Orange, West Orange, and South Orange. As a resident of West Orange, NJ, Tiberah Berhanu often found herself scrambling to find information, whether it was back-up childcare, or health care specialists within the area. Drawing from her natural storytelling ability, Tiberah was driven by the untold narratives of local entrepreneurs. Through the creation of this platform, our objective is to share these stories, spark inspiration, and streamline the process of accessing beneficial information.
About Tiberah Berhanu
Self-published author, wife, and proud mother of three boys, Tiberah Berhanu has long held a passion for moving audiences through storytelling. In her earlier years, the poem she wrote, Time Will Transcend won a national contest resulting in publication. She was also the co-creator of a community website and interviewed notable figures such as the late Dr. Catherine Hamlin. Tiberah received her Bachelor of Arts in Communications and a Master’s in Public Health from Kean University.
