You can submit nominations for the 2024 Russ Berrie Making a Difference Award until February 9. Established by the late Russell Berrie and hosted by Ramapo College of New Jersey, these awards pay tribute to New Jersey residents whose exceptional community service and courageous deeds have had a significant impact on others' lives.

With over 400 honorees since the award's inception in 1997, more than $4.1 million in cash awards have been granted to acknowledge individuals' personal sacrifices and dedication to serving others.

Nominees typically encompass a diverse array of individuals, including community leaders, affinity groups, ethnic and religious organizations, nonprofit leaders, and volunteers, all working towards the promotion of community service, volunteerism, social justice, and various advocacy topics.

The 28th Anniversary Award Ceremony on May 10, 2024, will celebrate ten outstanding changemakers, with awards ranging from a top prize of $50,000 to two $25,000 awards and up to seven $7,500 awards.
